Participants in our SpiritQuest Hawaii retreats stay in the area known as Upcountry Maui. The pleasant freshness of Upcountry Maui is often a surprise to first time visitors, who usually assume that the island is little more than hot sandy beaches and tropical jungle. Upcountry Maui is close to the airport, Kahului, the North Shore beaches and north coast jungles, but is a region all its own. Stretching from Haiku through Makawao and Pukalani to Kula, Maui's upcountry is a quiet and more temperate side of island life... the perfect place for a SpiritQuest retreat! Aromatherapy Foundation

A special place of beauty, privacy and refuge, the Aromatherapy Foundation is a charming two-story retreat nestled on a secluded mountainside location in the Olinda region on Maui. Panoramic views of the ocean, valley and winding coastlines lie below. This Maui retreat center has been designed to deeply relax and restore balance to body, mind and soul. A lovingly tendered aromatic Botanical Garden of lavender, rosemary, gardenia, protea, lemon, Tahitian lime, avocado and hibiscus, terrace the hillside surrounded by 32,000 acres of pastoral ranch land on the sunny slope of Mt. Haleakala. The stillness of the pine and fragrant eucalyptus forest enhance well-being in every breath. When we are immersed in nature for reflection, exercise and therapy, it is easier for our inner healing and balancing energies to revitalize us. The Aromatherapy Foundation offers a romantic cottage and a cozy octagon studio, with rates that range from $145 to $175 per night.

The Banyan Tree

Close, yet wonderfully removed from Maui's beachfront & crowded resorts, the Banyan Tree simply overflows with the peace and spirit of Hawaii. Giant banyan, monkeypod and jacaranda trees create a shady oasis amidst the fruit trees, flowers and sunny, wide open lawns. Comfortable private places are easy to find on this beautifully manicured, peacefully serene property. The Banyan Tree has a total of seven cottages and suites that are spread over 2.5 acres of flowers, trees, fruit and open lawns. Rates for cottages and suites range from $145 to $175 per night.

The SpiritQuest retreat center in Maui is located at the Banyan Tree House Bed & Breakfast.

Private areas are easy to find on this beautiful 2.5 acre property. An amazing salt water pool and a jacuzzi are available right on the property.

Cottages at the Banyan Tree offer the perfect blend of serenity and luxury. All cottages are equipped with kitchenettes for your convenience.

The Hale Ho'omana

The Hale Ho'omana is Hawaiian owned and operated. The word "Ho'omana" literally means to be empowered. This house of empowerment encourages you to awaken to your most vibrant and authentic self. The property offers three cottages, ranging in price from $85 to $155 per night, all of which have kitchens. It also has two individual rooms located in the main house that share a bathroom. These are available at $65 per night, which does NOT include use of a kitchen. Cottages sleep from 1-7 guests. The the rooms sleep 1-2. All beds are convertible from king size to twin. There is no swimming pool on the property. There is a one-time cleaning fee at the end of your stay.
